What bakers ask us first
Is there a free trial?
Yes. You get 7 days free with everything included: products, photos, design, forms, custom domain, QR code, test orders, and your live shop link. During the trial customers pay by transfer or cash; card payments turn on once your plan is paid. You add a card to start the trial and nothing is charged for 7 days. Cancel in two taps before then and you pay nothing. After the trial it is US$49/year or US$9.99/month.
Do my customers need an account or an app?
No. Your shop is a normal web page. Customers open your link, browse, and send a complete order. Nothing to download, no account to create.
How do I get paid?
The simplest path is Confita Payments: connect your bank and customers pay by card at checkout. Confita processes the card and settles payouts to your linked bank at one all-in rate, 3.9% + 30¢ a payment (full rates in the Terms; available in the US and Canada). Prefer your own setup? Connect your existing Square or eligible Stripe account and Confita adds no fee of its own. Payments land in your account and you settle directly with your customer. Bank transfer and cash work too. Good to know: cards turn on once your plan is paid and setup is done, and new Confita Payments accounts have a 7-day payout hold, then a risk check. Online card rates can differ from in-person reader rates; your Stripe or Square account shows your actual pricing.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel directly from Shop > Account > Billing, during the trial or after. No calls and no penalty.
Is my data and my customers’ data safe?
We store only what your shop needs to run: products, orders, and the contact details customers share with you. We never sell data, and our plain-language privacy policy is at confita.app/privacy.
What are the two ways to sell?
Use Direct order when a fixed-price product can be confirmed immediately. Use Custom request when you need questions, reference images, seller review, a private quote, and often a deposit. Both can live in the same shop.
What does Sales analytics show?
It shows collected and outstanding sales, paid orders, average order value, period comparisons, sales channels, and top products from activity recorded in Confita. It does not claim to measure website traffic, conversion, profit, inventory, tax, or recipe cost.
