Payments
Choose how customers pay for bakery orders
Start with Confita Payments, bring the Stripe or Square account you already have, or record money paid another way. Every payment stays beside its order.
Start with the account you have, or none
Confita Payments connects your bank through Stripe’s hosted onboarding, so you don’t need an account of your own. It costs 3.9% + 30¢ per card payment, card processing included, in the US and Canada.
Already have Stripe or Square? Connect it and Confita adds 0%. Their rates apply, and refunds and disputes stay in their dashboard. Square needs a location that takes cards in your country.

When cards switch on
Card payments turn on once your plan is paid, not during the free trial. Transfer, cash and the other manual methods work from the first day.
With Confita Payments, the first payout takes about a week. After that, payouts are daily.

Deposits customers understand
A custom cake needs money now and the rest later. The customer should see both before paying.
On a quote, tap half or pay in full, or type any amount. The customer sees the total, the deposit and what is due at pickup, and can pay by card when cards are on. The pickup reminder email shows any balance still due.

Manual payments, without losing track
Some customers pay outside card checkout. Confita shows the methods for your country: Zelle in the US, Interac e-Transfer in Canada, SPEI, OXXO Pay and Mercado Pago in Mexico, plus PayPal, Wise, bank transfer, cash on pickup or delivery and a custom payment link.
Customers can upload a receipt and you accept or reject it, or you can switch receipts off. Record a payment marks money you checked yourself.

Refunds, disputes and coupons
With Confita Payments, refunds happen from the order, full or partial. Confita’s fee isn’t returned on a refund. For a dispute, the disputed amount is held back and returned if the dispute is won.
Coupons can be a percent or a fixed amount, with a minimum, dates, a redemption cap and one use per email.
